New Teams
Managed By Students
Marketing
The Marketing Team is responsible for maintaining and upkeeping the RHM website. We are aiming to add new photos, videos, and current events happening in and around Killington for students. We are also distributing the Green Mountain College Resort Program brochures up and down the Killington access road. The team will look at evaluating marketing strategy effectiveness through primary and secondary data gathering.
The managers for the Marketing Team are Chris Byrne and Katie Kerr.
Ambassadors
The Ambassador Team meets and escorts prospective students and families in Poultney and Killington. They prepare rooms at the Lodge if a student is staying over as part of their visit. They arrange any and all class visits, tours, and meet with Killington management. The Ambassadors host the afternoon sessions at Highridge during open houses and join students and families for lunch in Poultney if possible.
The manager of the Ambassador Team is Sofia Feloney.
Events
The Events Team coordinates, evaluates, and executes all RHM events. They review event proposals generated by students and bring those proposals to the student run executive committee. The Events manager keeps records on each event such as information on financials and notes for next year based on the events that have occurred over the year. They also serve as a liaison for Chartwells if food and beverages are needed for a specific event.
The manager of the Events Team is Amy Zajdel.
Park Crew
The Park Crew Team is responsible for managing and maintaining the terrain park at the Lodge. They are implementing a new "park pass" system and will be looking at risk management. They will also ensure that the terrain park is opened and closed properly.
The managers of the Park Crew Team are Keith Kreischer and Sean Christ.
Sustainability
The Sustainability Team is focused on ensuring the Resort Program is operating with respect to the mission of Green Mountain College. The team is looking at working with Killington's Green Team to gain new ideas about how to be more sustainable. They will submit applications and proposals to receive greening funds to match the GMC goals.
The manager of the Sustainability Team is Nate Mastroeni.
